CLEARING THE PATH: A Tiny Retreat
3-6pm Eastern. December 18.
At Shilo Farm, Eliot, ME
Letting go, giving thanks, and integrating 2022 to clear the path for the New Year.
There’s a lot of talk at the end of any given year about letting go — but if it were that easy, wouldn’t we have all let a million things go by now? This Tiny Retreat will provide the space, tools, and process to support a wholistic letting go:
Acknowledge. Give thanks. Find contentment. Release.
By acknowledging, we meet ourselves and the Letting Go face to face.
By giving thanks, we acknowledge that at some point, in some way, this thing, habit, person, or thought served us — and for that we are grateful.
By finding contentment, we give space for an unfolding. Letting go isn’t always a one-and-done process, so we practicing finding contentment even in the middle ground.
By releasing, we give permission for a cleansing to make room for whatever comes next — and in many cases, we make room for emptiness and curiosity.
Join me for a beautiful journey of clearing the path for a new year ahead.
“To let go does not mean to get rid of. To let go means to let be. When we let be with compassion, things come and go on their own.”
— JACK KORNFIELD
The Road Map.
Opening Circle and Intention-Setting. Together we create our altar, the anchor for our time together.
Yoga practice designed to connect inward, soften, and find gratitude and contentment. In our movement, we lay the groundwork for release.
Reflection & Fire Ceremony: With gratitude, we release to the fire everything we are ready to transform that it may illuminate and warm our year ahead.
Closing Circle. Together we are witnessed and supported in our awakening, preparing our hearts and minds for the year ahead. There’s something so powerful when we share in the witness of community!
The Why.
There is so much talk about “letting it all go” — but nobody tells us how! We create space and sacred process for the transformation of one thing into something new. We alchemize the old, the worn-out, the no longer useful, and we make space with gratitude and contentment.
2023 is something new. Let’s lay the foundations together.
